Hey, I'm Monique. I'm a spiritual teacher, no BS writer and a solopreneur.

The idea of The Sane Solopreneur began formulating many years ago. I was talking to a coaching client and offered a piece of guidance, as I often did, that flew in the face of common sense.

I can't remember exactly what I said to her, but I followed it up, laughing, by saying: "I'm either the sanest or the craziest person you know!"

She scoffed and said: "You're definitely the sanest. Everyone else talks bullshit."

The judgey voice inside of us telling us that we'll never make it, the fear of what success might do to us, not to mention everyone else's opinions about what we should and shouldn't do with our lives... is all bullshit.

These voices can't lead us to where we want to go - towards the vision that we hold within us of living a more meaningful life.

So what can?

The answer is to tap into that part of us that's inspiring the vision in the first place - the voice within us that's available 24/7/365 and free to use: our own intuition.

I believe that sanity is found in being all that we can be within the limitations of our present situation.

Giving up is rarely the sane thing to do. Lowering our expectations is a far better idea...

Because success is not about making a 7 figure income in our first year of business (or ever if that doesn't suit us). Or hustling hard to make our mark and become the best in the world at what we do.

Because quite frankly, these things are meaningless to most of us but sold as the ideal life by many an online 'guru'.

What I'm talking about is taking the steps one at a time from wherever we are right now. Because that's literally all that we can do. It's about making your first $100 not your first million.

Sanity is about recognising that we expand our capacity with each step we take. We don't leap from A to Z in one bound!

But, more so, sanity is about listening to ourselves. WE know the way - that inner voice, call it God, soul, or intuition is the part of us - the ONLY part - that can lead the way.

And it does. It might be messy, or feel inconsistent. You might want to start a business but it tells you to get a gym membership. Maybe you need more sales, but it's telling you to lie on the couch and read a book for the afternoon.

But it leads the way. And it keeps on leading without judgement but simply saying - here's the next step - every single day.

When we lead by our minds we make the same mistakes over and over again. We walk in circles, we give up, we're mean to ourselves and often we have no idea why it's so hard.

But our minds were never meant to lead us. The mind is a processing too. It's our intuitive faculty that downloads the resourcefulness of the Universe right into our laps. Our job is to use it...

What I do...

Firstly this is a site for women (sure guys can join in too, but my clientele have always organically been women) who want to start or grow their business as a solopreneur.

The way I help is to show you:

  • How to follow your own intuition over and above everyone else's opinions, thoughts and feelings...
  • That the problems you face, and there will be many, aren't signs from the Universe. They're just life. And you can move beyond them.
  • Why it matters that you succeed. And how to move beyond your fear of success.

Where to start?

Here are a few places you might like to start this journey:

  • Learn to define what success means to YOU. You don't have to buy into the million dollar mansion ideal, you're allowed to be successful in a way that inspires you.
  • What to feel more organised and together? Check out my day to day planning strategy here.
  • If you're ready to leap in, check out the low cost membership where I give you all the behind the scenes insights into following your own inner voice, what it means and how to build faith in the vision you hold for your life.
